Full Summary (Press / Reviewer Version)

“The Ends of Time” begins at the height of a rebellion. Gary and Josh infiltrate the mansion of Dictator Thayne, a ruthless leader preparing to weaponize time travel. His plan: allow the wealthy to purchase arranged ancestry, ensuring their bloodlines are placed together across centuries, while ordinary people are scattered across the world with engineered randomness. The result is a future where power is guaranteed, rebellion is impossible, and free will becomes an illusion.

The rebels arrive too late. Thayne’s forces ambush them, and in a last, desperate escape, Gary is forced through a damaged time portal, shot in the back as he disappears.

Gary is thrown into the past, watching the dictator’s attack on history unfold firsthand. Years pass as he navigates a fractured world shaped by engineered lineage and sees aristocratic ancestors transported forward in time to witness an “unoccupied future” designed to validate Thayne’s rule.

Through calculated risk and sheer survival instinct, Gary inserts himself into one of these time tourist groups and makes it to a future checkpoint, where he finds Josh but years younger, still five years away from the rebellion they once fought together.

Convincing Josh of the truth is difficult. The paradox is worse.

Android hunters are already tracking him.
The timeline is already cracking.
And the dictatorship he tried to stop has been preparing for this encounter for decades.

With assassins closing in, Gary and Josh must outrun Planetary Police Robots, cross collapsing timestreams, and hide Gary’s younger self before the paradox catches up.

As Thayne tightens his grip across eras and begins erasing entire generations, Gary discovers the true horror: the dictator isn’t just protecting the future, he’s rewriting ancestry itself to ensure the rebellion never existed.

What begins as a mission to stop a time weapon becomes a desperate fight to preserve the integrity of history. Gary and Josh must fracture the dictator’s engineered timeline before it collapses into a paradox that wipes out rebels, freedom, and even their own existence.

“The Ends of Time” is a relentless, high concept thriller about rebellion, identity, and the price of altering destiny. It blends the tension of a chase narrative with the intellectual punch of time-travel paradox, delivering a story where every decision ripples across centuries.
