Glossary of Terms: Hethydect

Hethydect: A highly potent and toxic drug.

It is produced and distributed by a man named Sage.

It is a dark green liquid with black streams, and is absorbed into the body through the skin.

The drug is associated with a “high” and can potentially be fatal.

A gas triggered from the fluid of the lungs is a highly toxic element related to the drug.

The “Hethydect trade” is the criminal enterprise surrounding the drug.

Hethydect Sites/Stations: Pop-up structures or space stations that are “erected” where the drug is distributed to “junkies”. They are described as being “built like a tin can”.

Sage: The central figure responsible for producing and distributing Hethydect. He is a tall black man with silver streaks in his natural afro.

Displacer/Displacers: A personal device, typically worn on a belt, used for instantaneous transmission (teleportation), which appears as a “silver burst” or “silvery streak”.

Police use it, though official regulations advise against its use to transmit through space.

Mark uses a dial on his belt to disappear.

Trevor adjusts a dial and knob on his belt buckle to activate it.

Space Dog: A type of spacecraft, smaller than the T-70, characterized by an exterior network of piping designed to circulate a higher concentrated fuel.

T-70: The type of black metal space cruiser/ship used by the police, including Trevor and Mark.

C-Station: A police station, used for landing, where officers like Trevor and Mark convene.

SSP (Special Space Police Station): The organization that Trevor and Mark contact for backup.

Police Wagon: A large, boxier vehicle, the front of which is outside in space, used to transport arrested individuals to the nearest station.

Coldren D: A base where Sage instructs his crew to gather.
